The Mawson Bike Trail
The Mawson Trail is Australia's finest off road cycling trail. A 900 kilometre journey that takes you across the Adelaide hills, through rolling pastoral country and rambles alongside some of Australia's premier wine country. Most of the ride is done on quiet country lanes, back roads, forest trails and single track that leaves the world behind and creates a very special ambiance of its own as it unwinds its way into the more remote outback areas of the Flinders Ranges.
This is a journey for those people who have the passion for touring, for families and friends who love sharing an adventure and those who love the wide open road. The Mawson Trail is a grand ride of some 14 days in the saddle, plus rest days to simply take it all in.
